Thursday, May 31, 2007 -- Celebrate NJ! Director, Karen Hatcher, throws out the first pitch at First Energy Park in Lakewood, kicking off the first official 2007 Celebrate NJ! Night at the ballpark.

Monday, June 4, 2007 -- Students from Frankin School in South Plainfield ham it up at the Somerset Patriots Celebrate NJ! night.

Tuesday, June 5, 2007--- Students from Princeton Charter School with Karen Hatcher at the Trenton Thunder Celebrate NJ! night.

Thursday, June 7 , 2007 -- Students from Myron L. Powell School in Cumberland County have fun with "Splash" and Karen Hatcher at the Atlantic City Surf Celebrate NJ! night.

Thursday, June 14, 2007 -- Students from Morris, Sussex and Passaic Counties hang out with "Scooter" and Karen Hatcher at the Sussex game.

Tuesday, June 19, 2007-- (3 pictures above) Students and teacher, Jennifer Zingaro from Berlin Community School and St. Stephens School in Pennsauken stop by the Celebrate NJ! booth at the Riversharks game.

Tuesday, June 26, 2007-- (3 pictures above) Students from Bergen and Passaic Counties came out on one of the hottest nights of the summer so far to enjoy festivities with the NJ Jackals. BF Gibbs' students got to hear some of the trivia questions they prepared announced to the crowd. Good stuff!

Friday, June 29, 2007 -- We made it! Our final game of the season hosted by the Newark Bears. Kids from Union and Hudson pictured above. Nancy Dowd from the State Library was on hand to help close out this year's program.

Eight games in 30 days and not a single rain-out! Thousands of kids, parents, teachers celebrated students all over the state and learned some pretty cool stuff about New Jersey. Many thanks to our partners, volunteers and sponsors-- it was great fun!

*Students qualified for tickets to a game night by either participating in a NJ Studies class project or by researching, writing and submitting an article about New Jersey as part of the Celebrate NJ! fourth grade School Program.
